Such a long time!

A couple of years ago I did another raffle to raise money for charity. This time for Willows Animal Sanctuary.

A lovely lady called Barbara won and I did a cat portrait for her.

Something else I do for charity is A Blind Date with a Book

Daisy and Hamish

Hamish and Daisy were painted as a prize for a fund raiser for Pennine Animal Welfare Society in August 2022

Lewie

This is Lewie. His owner took him in age 11 when his original owner moved and couldn't take him with him (his original owner did come and visit him often though because he loved him so much) He was a Bengal and was very vocal, following his owner around and very demanding but was loved so much by both his owners. Sadly he passed away 9 months after his second owner started looking after him with an aggressive cancer. He is sadly missed by his owners and they have lots of lovely memories of him.

Lewie's owner won a raffle for a pet portrait via Bart's Legacy Cat Sanctuary, way back in the spring. She has been very patient waiting for me to finish it. It was a pleasure and a joy to paint this gorgeous boy.

PAWS

I am offering a prize of a pet portrait for the Pennine Animal Welfare Society. It will be run through their Facebook page here.

Dennis

This is Dennis...another raffle prize done for someone who has supported our little local cat sanctuary, Bart's.

Scratchy

Another cat for a prize winner at the Yorkshire Cat Rescue...

This is Scratchy, he did had the most enormous green eyes and a wobbly face on the photo I was using to work from!

Poppy and Marley

Two more cat portraits done for raffle prize winners for Yorkshire Cat Rescue.

This is Poppy....

And this is Marley.

Raffle prizes for Cat charities

So I have been busy this year. With the Corona virus Pandemic, lots of charities were struggling for funds to keep going. To do my bit I offered a pet portrait as a prize for two charities.
Bart's Legacy Cat Sanctuary and The Yorkshire Cat Rescue.
The winner for Bart's was Bex

That led to another person donating money and getting a portrait of her grumpy cat, Rosie.

and I have just done Sugar for the winner of the Yorkshire Car Rescue Raffle...

She was a cutie with her little pink tongue sticking out!
So some money raised for charities in these uncertain times.....
