The Cat, the Dog and the Baby

I have been very busy...honest!
I had 2 commissions and one prize to paint.
The prize was the lovely (sometimes naughty) Gizmo for Simone who won my give away way back in February!

Then there was a commission for a christening gift for a work colleague

and last but certainly not least was Bertie a lovely little character painted for Jo.

See I told you I had been busy!

Over Christmas I managed to finish Sammy's portrait.
It was for a raffle prize for Saving Rare Breeds

And as usual the winner had to wait a little while before I got my act together!
But he is all done now and on his way to meet the real Sammy!

Another Raffle winner

I am on half term this coming week and plan to finish a watercolour of this fine looking doggie.
As you can see his owner sent a lovely cloear photo and I am looking forward to working with it.
He is the raffle winner from the Saving Rare Breeds Summer Raffle. Do pop over and give them your support.

Meet Archie

This is the second portrait which has now arrived with it's owner so I can show a photo.

This is Archie and he is a very handsome chap.

I did a watercolour and a pencil sketch.

Marsha loved them and I have to say he was a dream to do as she had sent me such clear photographs which always helps but I understand when this is not possible.

Question: how do you get paid from abroad for things you sell? does anyone have their own Pay pal account and get paid through this?

One gone, another off tomorrow

I posted Judy's pet portrait a few weeks ago and she very kindly telephoned me from the USA today to say she had received it and was pleased with it.

Phew...that's a relief!

I have started!

Yes I managed to sit down and start the two paintings I have been trying to do for months. One is for Judy of her lovely Border Collie, Maggie.

The workroom is ready to work in!
The other is for Marsha, of her handsome dog Archie.
